INTRODUCTION OF CELL

You know, what is  cell ? What type of cell and how many  cell are there ? I will tell about  this.

What is cell? 

Cell is a smallest  unit of life . Cells are the  basic structural  and functional unit of life. Cell was discovered  BY ROBERT HOOK.

A number of cellcan work together  to form a tissue  and organ.

HOW THE CELL WAS DISCOVERED?

While Robert hooke examining  the thin slice of cork ,Robert  hooke saw that the cork resembled the structure of a honeycomb consisting  of many little  compartments. Cork is a substance which comes from the bark of the tree .This was in 1665 when hooke  made this chance observation through  a self designed  microscope . Cell is a Latin word for  "little room".

WHAT TYPE OF CELL ? 

There are approximately  about 200 different  types of cells in the  body .

Like 

 i) Epithelial  cell

ii) Connective  cell 

iii) Muscle  cell

iv) Nerve cell 

                                              NERVE CELL

                           Mammary cell
