WHAT ARE THE ELETRIC PATHWAY ?

For electric current to flow their must be a complete pathway for the electron to flow the pathway is called circuit a very simple circuit consists of a lamb connected by wires to the terminal of a battery electrons flows from the negative terminal of the battery through the lamp to the positive terminal. 

An electric current flowing in a wire can be compared to water flowing in a pipe a pump is needed to make water flow in a pipe the pump provide sub pressure that drives water through the pipe in an electric circuit a battery act as an electron pump and drive electron around the circuit the electrical pressure is called the electro motive force and is measured involt the volt is named after the Italian scientist Volta 1745 to 1827 who invented the first battery.

If the pressure in a pipe is increased amount of water flowing through the pipe increases in the same way if the voltage in electrical conservative increase more electrons flow through the circuit in the experiments you should use only a low voltage for the example of 6 volt battery most household circuits are wired for 110 to 220 volt this voltage are very dangerous and you should never touch aware connected to the household electrical supply.
