ARCHIMEDES PRINCIPLE PART 1

APPLICATION OF ARCHIMEDES PRINCIPLE

When a body is immersed fully or partially in fluid it expenses and upward food that is equal to the weight of the fluid displaced by it.

Its application are

Used in designing shape and submarines.

In lactometer should find purity of milk .

In hydrometer to determine density of liquid.

Now one activity

You will find  that  elongation of string or the reading of the balance decreases as a stone is gradually load in the water how were no further changes observed once the stone get fully merged in the water what do you inform the decrease in the extension of the string or reading of the spring balance now the string or the spring balance is due to the height of the stone the extension decreases once stone is load in the water it means that some force act on the stone is upward as the result the net force on the string decreases and and hence  also decreases upward force exerted by water known as buoyancy.
