WHY WE CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS ?

 

WHAT IS CHRISTMAS ?

Now Christmas is a Christian festival which celebrate the birth of Jesus we do not know the date of this birth but most questions whole the celebration on 25th December Russian orthodox Christians celebrate on 7 January the whole season of Christmas last from advent the coming which starts from Sunday before Christmas to Epihany  any showing Jesus to wise man on 6 January .

What was  the story  of Christmas? 

The story of birth of Jesus is found in the gospels of matthew and Luke  in the new Testament o f the Bible his mother Mary and Joseph her husband had to travel to Bethlehem   To be entered on his list of paying taxes to the Romans. Bethlehem was crowded and their were no rooms in any of inns  hotel in the town Mary and Joseph found a stable which was either a shed or caves used for cattle where Mary gave birth to Jesus she use a feeding called A manager as his Creed and he felt on the bed of hay. 

Why the santa Claus give gifts ?

St Nicholas is the Patron saint of the children. He was a bishop who lived in the 4th century and has come to be known as Santa Claus or father Christmas.  He is feast day of 6 December is day for giving present in many parts of Europe.
