ELECTRICITY CLASS 10 part 1

 

First of all 

What is electricity?

Electricity is an important source of energy in the Modern Times electricity is used in our home in industries and in transport for example electricity is used in our home for lightning operating fan and heating purposes in industries electric city is used to run various types of Machines and in transport sector electricity is being used full electric train in this chapter electric potential ,electric current, electric power and the heating effect.

Two types of electric  charge 

1. Unlike charge - for example a positive charge attract a negative charge

2. Like charge for example positive charge repels a positive charge and negative charge repels a negative charge. 

Main points 

- To Aisa Hi unit of electric charge is columb which is denoted by letter C we can define this unit of charge as follows one columb is that quantity of electric charge with exerts a force of 9 ×10⁹N on a equal charge place a distance of 1 M form it.

- you all know that all the matter contains positively charged particle called proton and negatively charged particle called electron

- A Proton possesses a positive charge of 1.6  ×1/10¹⁹ columb whereas and electron possesses a negative charge of 1.6 ×1/10¹⁹C.
